Plight of Icarus
Background:
Plight of Icarus was my first ever entry into a GameJam, this was the first time I had worked on a project completely independently with no external support under a short deadline.

Features:
Plight of Icarus is an infinite runner in a sense that is based on the Greek Legend of Icarus. The player must fly for as long and high as possible without taking enough damage to drain their health entirely. Icarus loses health passively as well as upon hitting certain objects and must collect feathers to restore health. There is also a day/night cycle.

Personal note:
This was my first ever entry into a GameJam competition. I learned a lot of DOs and DON'Ts during the GameJam and gained a better understanding of crunch as well as working with a teammate.

A more serious introduction to Unity development and Unity's API.
Introduction to GameJams and how to manage time in a GameJam.
Additional C# knowledge.
Working together simultaneously on a single project.
Basic GitHub functionality.
